In a bout of debuting heavyweights, Derrick Lewis will face Jack May on the preliminary card of UFC on FOX 11 on April 19th in Orlando.
UFC President Dana White announced the fight booking on Twitter tonight.
UFC on FOX 11 takes place from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on April 19th and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Travis Browne meets Fabricio Werdum in a potential number one contenders bout.
Lewis (9-2, 1NC) was signed by the UFC last year and was booked to face Nandor Guelmino at UFC 165, but he had to pull out of the fight with an injury. He is unbeaten in his last six fights (5-0, 1NC) and holds a knockout victory over current UFC fighter Jared Rosholt.
May (7-0) is coming off a win at Tachi Palace Fights 18 this past weekend as he defeated Carl Seumanutafa by TKO in the first round. It was his sixth career win to come by TKO/KO and all of those wins have come in the first round.
