A featherweight bout is slated to take place at UFC Fight Night 38 in Brazil as Ultimate Fighter 14 winner Diego Brandao will meet Will Chope.
The fight booking was officially announced by the UFC on Wednesday.
UFC Fight Night 38 will take place on March 23rd from the Ginasio Nelio Dias in Natal, Brazil and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Mauricio “Shogun” Rua meets Dan Henderson.
Brandao (18-9) has won four of his six fights in the UFC and had his three fight winning streak snapped in December at UFC 168 as he was defeated by Dustin Poirier. He was defeated by TKO and it was his first stoppage defeat since 2010.
Chope (19-6) made his UFC debut last month and entered the fight on a fourteen fight winning streak. He would be defeated by Max Holloway by TKO in the second round and it was his third defeat to come by TKO/KO.
