A featherweight bout has been added to the TUF Nations Finale fight card on April 16th as Dustin Poirier will meet Akira Corassani.
The fight booking was initially reported by Dave Deibert of Post Media News and was later confirmed by the UFC.
The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale takes place from the Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City on April 16th and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Michael Bisping meets Tim Kennedy.
Poirier (15-3) has won back to back fights after losing a decision to Cub Swanson at the beginning of 2013. His most recent win came at UFC 168 in December as he defeated Diego Brandao by knockout in the first round.
Corassani (12-3, 1NC) came to the UFC through The Ultimate Fighter 14 and he has won all three of his official UFC fights. His most recent appearance came at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale and he won by disqualification after Maximo Blanco landed an illegal strike.
