A middleweight bout has been added to the newly announced UFC Fight Night 40 card on May 10th in Cincinnati as Ed Herman will meet Rafael Natal.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on late Wednesday evening and this bout is likely to be placed on the main card.
UFC Fight Night 40 takes place from the U.S. Bank Arena on May 10th and tickets for the event will go on sale on March 21st.
Herman (21-10, 1NC) is 1-2, 1NC in his last four fights and the only victory to come in that stretch was against Trevor Smith at UFC on FOX 7 last year. He is coming off a decision defeat to Thales Leites at UFC 167 and three of his last four fights have gone the distance.
Natal (17-5-1) had his three fight winning streak snapped in November when he was defeated by Tim Kennedy at UFC Fight for the Troops 3. It was only his second defeat in his last seven fights and both of the defeats have come by knockout.
