Gleison Tibau has pulled out of his UFC Fight Night 38 bout against Mairbek Taisumov and replacing Tibau in the bout will be Michel Prazeres.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on Wednesday morning.
UFC Fight Night 38 will take place on March 23rd from the Ginasio Nelio Dias in Natal, Brazil and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Mauricio “Shogun” Rua meets Dan Henderson.
Prazeres (17-1) was signed by the UFC last year and made his debut against Paulo Thiago at UFC on FX 8 in a welterweight bout, which he lost by unanimous decision. He dropped down to the lightweight division in his second UFC fight and defeated Jesse Ronson by split decision at UFC 165.
Taisumov (21-4) made his UFC debut at the beginning of the year at UFC Fight Night 34 in Singapore and defeated Tae Hyun Bang by unanimous decision. It was his fourth straight victory and his first career win to come by decision.
