Ian McCall injured, UFC searching for a new opponent for Brad Pickett

An undisclosed injury has forced Ian McCall to pull out of his UFC Fight Night 37 bout against Brad Pickett, and the UFC is looking for a new opponent for Pickett. UFC Fight Night 37 Poster

UFC President Dana White confirmed the injury on Thursday during a media session in Las Vegas.

UFC Fight Night 37 takes place from the O2 Arena in London on March 8th and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Alexander Gustafsson meets Jimi Manuwa.

McCall (12-4-1) has gone 1-2-1 since entering the UFC in 2012 and this is the third time he has pulled out of a fight with an injury. For Pickett (23-8), he is dropping down to the flyweight division after being one of the top ten bantamweights in the UFC. He has dropped two of his last three fights and has won the fight of the night bonus in his last two fights.
