A welterweight bout is the latest edition to the UFC on FOX 11 card on April 19th in Orlando as Jordan Mein will face Santiago Ponzinibbio.
UFC President Dana White officially announced the fight booking on Thursday evening after it was reported by various outlets.
UFC on FOX 11 takes place from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on April 19th and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Travis Browne meets Fabricio Werdum in a potential number one contenders bout.
Mein (27-9) has won nine of his past eleven fights and has gone 3-2 in UFC/Strikeforce. He is coming off a TKO defeat to Matt Brown at UFC on FOX 7 and the defeat snapped a three fight winning streak.
Ponzinibbio (18-2) is a member of Team Nogueira and was defeated by Ryan LaFlare in his UFC debut in November. The defeat snapped a seven fight winning streak and sixteen of his eighteen victories have come by knockout or submission.
