A welterweight bout has been added to World Series of Fighting 9 on March 29th as Josh Burkman faces Tyler Stinson on the main card.
The fight booking was recently announced by the World Series of Fighting.
World Series of Fighting 9 will come from The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on March 29th and will be headlined by Steve Carl defending the welterweight title against Rousimar Palhares.
Burkman (26-10) will be stepping back into the cage for the first time since being defeated by Carl at World Series of Fighting 6 in the inaugural welterweight title bout. The defeat snapped a five fight winning streak and it was his first defeat since 2011.
Stinson (26-9) has won three straight fights, including his World Series of Fighting debut last month against Valdir Araujo. He won the fight by TKO in the third round and all three wins during his winning streak have come by TKO/KO.
