A featherweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 40 as Nik Lentz and Manny Gamburyan have verbally agreed to meet on the May 10th card in Cincinnati.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday afternoon and the fight is likely to be placed on the main card.
UFC Fight Night 40 takes place from the U.S. Bank Arena on May 10th and tickets for the event will go on sale on March 21st.
Lentz (24-6-2, 1NC) had his three fight winning streak snapped in December as he lost a decision to Chad Mendes at UFC on FOX 9. It was his first lost as a UFC featherweight as his last defeat in the UFC came in 2012 against Evan Dunham in a lightweight bout.
Gamburyan (13-8) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost a decision to Dennis Siver at UFC 168 in December. The victory snapped a two fight winning streak and it was his fifth straight fight to go to a decision.
