UFC President Dana White announced the new fight last night on Twitter and the new fight will be placed on the preliminary card.

UFC 171 takes place on March 15th from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas and will be headlined by Johny Hendricks facing Robbie Lawler for the vacant UFC welterweight title.

Krylov (16-3) was signed by the UFC last year and lost his debut at UFC 164 against Soa Palelei. He returned at last month’s UFC on FOX 10 and defeated Walt Harris by TKO in 25 seconds. It was his sixth career win by TKO/KO and all of his wins have come in the first round.

St. Preux (14-5) has won ten of his last eleven fights after being defeated four times in his first seven fights. He is currently on a three fight winning streak and two of those wins have come in the UFC. His most recent victory took place at UFC Fight Night 26 and he defeated Cody Donovan by knockout in the first round.
