A featherweight bout has been added to next month’s UFC Fight Night 38 card in Brazil as Noad Lahat has signed with the UFC and will meet Godofredo Pepey.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Friday and the bout will be place on the preliminary card.
UFC Fight Night 38 will take place on March 23rd from the Ginasio Nelio Dias in Natal, Brazil and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Mauricio “Shogun” Rua meets Dan Henderson.
Lahat (7-0) trains out of American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose, California and six of his seven wins have come by knockout or submission. His last fight came at BAMMA USA 10 in August as he defeated Shad Smith by unanimous decision.
Pepey (9-3) was a finalist during The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 1 and has lost three of his four fights in the UFC. He is currently on a two fight losing streak, with both of those defeats coming by TKO in the first round and his most recent defeat came at UFC Fight Night 32 against Sam Sicilia.
