A women’s bantamweight bout has been added to The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale on April 12th in Quebec City as Sarah Kaufman will face Ultimate Fighter alum Shayna Baszler in a rematch of their 2009 bout in Strikeforce.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Saturday.
The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale takes place from the Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City on April 16th and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Michael Bisping meets Tim Kennedy.
Kaufman (16-2, 1NC) is a former Strikeforce bantamweight champion and made her UFC debut in October against Jessica Eye. Baszler (15-8) was a member of Team Rousey during TUF 18 and was eliminated in the quarterfinals by eventual winner Julianna Pena. In her first meeting with Kaufman, she was defeated by unanimous decision and has gone 5-2 since their first meeting.
