Former welterweight title contender Thiago Alves will return to the octagon on April 19th for the first time since early 2012 and will meet Seth Baczynski at UFC on FOX 11. 
The fight booking was initially reported by Fox Sports and has been confirmed by the UFC.
UFC on FOX 11 takes place from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on April 19th and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Travis Browne meets Fabricio Werdum in a potential number one contenders bout.
Alves (19-9) is 2-4 in his last six fights and his last appearance in the octagon came at UFC on FX 2 when he was submitted by Martin Kampmann. Since the fight with Kampmann, he has pulled out of two fights due to injuries, which required him to have surgery.
Baczynski (19-10) recently snapped a two fight losing streak as he defeated Neil Magny by decision at UFC Fight for the Troops 3. It was his first win in over a year and he has won seven of his last nine fights.
