UFC Fight Night 36 Weigh-In Results

The UFC Fight Night 36 Weigh-Ins took place today in Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil and the fight card is now official with twelve fights.  UFC Fight Night 36

Today’s weigh-ins came from the Arena Jaragua and the same venue will host tomorrow night’s fight card.

Tomorrow night’s card will be headlined by a middleweight bout as former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida (185 lbs) looks to secure a title shot as he faces former Strikeforce and DREAM light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi (186 lbs).

The co-main event will also be in the middleweight division as former Strikeforce champion Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (185 lbs) looks for his sixth straight victory as he faces Francis Carmont (185 lbs), who is currently on a six fight winning streak in the UFC.

The only fighter to not initially make weight on his first attempt was preliminary card fighter Maximo Blanco. He weighed in at 147.9 pounds on his first attempt for his featherweight bout against Felipe Arantes. He was given an additional hour to make weight and made weight on his second attempt at 145 pounds.
