The UFC on FOX 11 has added to more fights to the growing fight card as Brad Tavares meets Yoel Romero in a middleweight bout and Pat Healy faces Jorge Masvidal in a lightweight bout.
Both fight bookings were announced the UFC on early Wednesday morning and both bouts will be placed on the preliminary card.
UFC on FOX 11 takes place from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on April 19th and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Travis Browne meets Fabricio Werdum in a potential number one contenders bout.
Tavares (12-1) is currently on a five fight winning streak and has won seven of his eight fights in the UFC. He is coming off a decision win at UFC Fight Night 35 against Lorenz Larkin and it was his sixth straight fight to go to a decision. Yomero (7-1) entered the UFC last year and has won all three of his fights in the organization. All of his professional wins have come by TKO/KO and his most recent win came in January as he defeated Derek Brunson.
Healy (31-17, 1NC) has lost back to back fights and is winless (0-3, 1NC) in the UFC. His last two defeats have come by decision and his last win came at the final Strikeforce event in January of last year. Masvidal (25-8) had his three fight winning streak snapped in November against Rustam Khabilov and it was his first defeat since 2011. Nine of his last ten fights have gone to a decision, with his only stoppage win in that period coming last year as he submitted Michael Chiesa.
