A light heavyweight bout has been added to the Titan FC 28 card in April as former UFC light heavyweight fighters meet as Vinny Magalhaes will face Jason Brilz.
The fight booking was initially reported by MMA Fighting and was later confirmed by Titan FC.
Magalhaes (10-7, 1NC) briefly retired following his lost to Anthony Perosh at UFC 163 last year. It was his second straight defeat and he was defeated by knockout. It was his second career defeat to come by knockout, with the first time happening in 2008 in The Ultimate Fighter 8 Final against Ryan Bader.
Brilz (21-5-1) has won three straight fights after exiting from the UFC in late 2011. During his recent winning streak, two of the three wins have come by decision in Victory Fighting Championships and his last win took place in December against Dallas Mitchell.
Titan FC 28 will take place on either April 11th or 18th and a venue for the fight card has not been announced at this time.
