A schedule welterweight bout at The Ultimate Fighter China Finale has been scratched as Zak Cummings came in eight pounds over weight and Alberto Mina would not agree to a catchweight bout.
UFC officials announced the change prior to the weigh-ins and Mino will be paid his show and win money.
Cummings (16-3) entered the UFC last year through The Ultimate Fighter 17 and won his official UFC debut in August at UFC Fight Night 27 against Ben Alloway. For Mina (10-0), this was going to be his UFC debut and he will likely receive a new fight soon.
With this fight off the card, the event will go forward with eight fights on the scheduled bantamweight bout between Nam Phan and Vaughan Lee is back on the preliminary card.
