Dantas (16-3) become the fifth fighter in Bellator history to make two successful title defenses on Friday night when he defeated Leone. It was his third straight win to come by stoppage in Bellator and he is now tied with Zach Makovsky for the most wins in Bellator bantamweight division history.
Warren (10-3) won the season nine bantamweight tournament and will be looking to become the first fighter in Bellator history to win a title in two different weight classes. Since dropping down to the bantamweight division, he has won three fights in a row and his last two wins have come by stoppage in the second round.
Along with the title fight, Bellator 118 is expected to feature the final of the season ten featherweight tournament. The tournament kicked off last week with the opening round bouts and the semifinals are set for March 28th in Utah.
