Jingliang Li was recently signed by the UFC and he will make his debut on May 24th in Las Vegas at UFC 173 as he meets Danny Mitchell in a welterweight bout.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday afternoon.
UFC 173 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 24th and will be headlined by Chris Weidman defending the UFC middleweight title against Lyoto Machida.
Li (8-2) has won back to back fights and five of his last seven fights. His last win came in April of last year by submission and it was his fifth career win to come by submission. Four of his five submission wins have come by guillotine choke and he trains out of China Top Team.
Mitchell (14-5-1) made his UFC debut earlier this month and was defeated by Igor Araujo. The defeat snapped a two fight winning streak and his previous defeat came against former UFC and current Bellator fighter Kendall Grove.
