Maurice Jackson out of tonight’s Bellator 113, Daniel Gallemore now faces Fredrick Brown

Maurice Jackson suffered an undisclosed injury this morning that has forced him to pull out of tonight’s Bellator 113 heavyweight bout against Daniel Gallemore and replacing Jackson will be Wichita’s own Fredrick Brown. Bellator 113

Bellator officials announced the change on early Friday afternoon.

Bellator 115 will come from the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas tonight and the fight card will be headline by a title unification bout as Attila Vegh meets Emanuel Newton for the light heavyweight title.

Brown (4-0) turned professional in 2009 and all of his wins have come by stoppage in the first round. His last fight took place in September at Capital City Combat 11 and he defeated Joel Rader at the 2:01 mark of the opening round.

Gallemore (2-2) will be stepping into the Bellator cage for his second appearance as he won his debut in the promotion in 2011 against Derrick Ruffin. Both of his career victories have come by TKO and he is coming off a 20 second victory in his last fight.
