A welterweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night card in Berlin on May 31st as Peter Sobotta returns to the UFC and he will meet UFC newcomer Pawel Pawlak.
The fight booking was recently announced by the UFC.
UFC Fight Night 41 will come from the O2 World Berlin on May 31st and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Mark Munoz will face Gegard Mousasi.
Sobotta (13-4-1) has gone unbeaten (5-0-1) since his exit from the UFC in 2010 after he lost to Amir Sadollah at UFC 122. During his first stint in the UFC, he went winless and lost all three of his UFC bouts by decision. During his recent winning streak, all five wins have come by rear-naked choke submission in the first round.
Pawlak (10-0) has won nine of his ten fights by stoppage with six of those wins coming by TKO/KO. His last eight wins have come by stoppage and his last fight came in November has he won by TKO in the third round. Prior to his last fight, he had never been to the third round in his career.
