Terry Etim has been forced to withdraw from the season ten lightweight tournament with an ACL injury and taking his spot in the tournament will be Fight Master alum Tim Welch.
Bellator MMA announced the change on Saturday evening and Welch will meet Derek Campos in the opening round, which begins in six days at Bellator 113.
Bellator 113 will come from the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas and will be headlined by a light heavyweight title unification bout as Attila Vegh meets Emanuel Newton.
Welch (10-4) was a member of Team Jackson’s during the inaugural season of Fight Master and he has won four of his last five fights. He was initially scheduled to meet Donnie Bell on the Bellator 113 preliminary card and with Welch being elevated to the tournament, Bell will now face Eric Wisely.
