UFC Fight Night 37 took place on Saturday in London and the fight night bonuses went to Alexander Gustafsson, Jimi Manuwa, and Gunnar Nelson.
The bonuses were announced by UFC President Dana White following the event and each bonus is $50,000.
Gustafsson earned the fight of the night bonus with Manuwa, along with one of the two performance of the night bonuses for his second round victory over Manuwa.
This is the second straight fight that Gustafsson has won the fight of the night bonus and the victory secures Gustafsson a shot at the light heavyweight title, which is currently held by Jon Jones and he will be making his next title defense next month at UFC 172 as he is challenged by Glover Teixeira.
Nelson won the other performance of the night bonus for his first round submission victory over Omari Akhmedov. Nelson was able to get the fight to the ground early and ended up scoring his eighth career win by submission. He improves to 3-0 in the UFC and this is the first time he has won a fight by guillotine choke submission.
