The UFC Fight Night 38 Weigh-Ins took today in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil and the fight card is now official with twelve fights.
Today’s weigh-ins came from Ginasio Nelio Dias and the same venue will host tomorrow night’s fight card.
The fight card will be headlined by a rematch in the light heavyweight division as former UFC champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua (205 lbs) looks to even up the score with former Pride/Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson (202 lbs).
The only fighter on the card to miss weight was Ronny Markes for his middleweight bout against Thiago Santos. He weighed in at 190 pounds, which is four pounds over the middleweight limit of 186 pounds. He has been given an additional hour to make weight and if he is unable to make weight, he will forfeit 20 percent of his purse.
