A welterweight bout has been booked for the UFC Fight Night 40 card as Ultimate Fighter Brazil 2 runner up William Patolino meets Ultimate Fighter 16 alum Neil Magny.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Wednesday and the bout will be place on the preliminary card.
UFC Fight Night 40 takes place from the U.S. Bank Arena on May 10th and will be headlined by a welterweight bout as Matt Brown meets Erick Silva.
Patolino (7-1) opened his career with six straight wins before losing to Leandro Santos in the TUF Brazil 2 final. He returned at UFC 168 and earned his first official UFC victory as he defeated Bobby Voelker by unanimous decision.
Magny (9-3) was a member of Team Carwin during TUF 16 and won his official UFC debut against Jon Manley. After losing back to back fights, he scored his second UFC victory as he defeated Gasan Umalatov by unanimous decision at UFC 169.
