UFC President Dana White announced yesterday that former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski is returning to the UFC and he will meet Brendan Schaub at UFC 174 on June 14th.
The fight booking was officially announced by the UFC on Friday afternoon.
UFC 174 will come from Rogers Centre on June 14th and will be headlined by Demetrious Johnson defending the flyweight title against Ali Bagautinov.
Arlovski (21-10, 1NC) has been away from the UFC since 2008 and has gone 6-1, 1NC in his last eight fights. He has won back to back fights and is coming off a second round TKO victory against Andreas Kraniotakes in November.
Schaub (10-3) is also on a two fight winning streak and has gone 6-3 in his nine UFC fights. He is coming off a technical submission victory at UFC 165 in September and it was his first career victory to come by submission.
