Bellator 116 Medical Suspensions: Brandon Halsey could be suspended for two months unless he is cleared by a physician

The medical suspensions for Bellator 116 have been released by the California State Athletic Commission and middleweight tournament finalist Brandon Halsey could be suspended for two months unless he is cleared by a physician.Bellator 116

The commission released the medical suspensions on Tuesday and the suspensions were forwarded to TheMMAReport.com after they were requested.

Bellator 116 took place last Friday night at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California and was headlined by the heavyweight tournament semifinals.

Halsey received a sixty day suspension from the commission due to a laceration to his left eyelid. He can come off suspension prior to sixty days if he is cleared by a physician. TheMMAReport.com reached out to Bellator for an update on Halsey’s status for his tournament final bout against Brett Cooper and we have not receive a response at this time.
