Bellator 116 Weigh-In Results: Joe Pacheco makes weight on second attempt

The Bellator 116 Weigh-Ins took place today in Temecula, California and the fight card is now official with thirteen fights.  Bellator 116

Today’s weigh-ins came from the Pechanga Resort and Casino and tomorrow nights card will come from the same venue.

The televised main card will be headlined by the semifinals in the heavyweight tournament as Lavar Johnson (245.5 lbs) faces Blagoi Ivanov (255.7 lbs) in the main event and former champion Alexander Volkov (235.7 lbs) meets Mighty Mo Siliga (264.9 lbs) in the opening fight of the main card.

The fight card will also feature two other tournament semifinal bouts as Nathan Coy (170.6 lbs) faces Adam McDonough (170.9 lbs) in the first welterweight tournament semifinal. In the other semifinal bout on the card, Brandon Halsey (185.8 lbs) will meet Joe Pacheco (185.9 lbs), who initially missed weight by .3 pound. Pacheco was given additional time to make weight by the commission and he came in under the middleweight limit of 186 pounds on his second attempt.
