Former Bellator welterweight champion has an opponent for his ONE FC debut as he will meet Bakhtiyar Abbasov at ONE FC 16: Honor and Glory on May 30th in Singapore.
The fight booking was announced by ONE FC on Monday.
ONE FC 16: Honor and Glory will come from the Singapore Indoor Stadium and tickets are currently on sale at Sports Hub Tix.

Askren (12-0) signed with ONE FC in December after being unable to get a contract offer from the UFC following his run as Bellator welterweight champion. After winning six straight fights by decision, his last two wins have come by TKO and his last victory took place against Andrey Koreshkov.
Abbasov (11-2) will also be making his ONE FC debut in this bout and he is currently and is currently on a nine fight winning streak. During 2013, he went 4-0 with three of the victories coming in the first round and his last two victories have come by armbar submission.
