A rib injury has forced Evan Dunham to pull out of his fight against Mark Bocek at next week’s Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale and replacing Dunham in the bout will be UFC newcomer Mike De La Torre.
Bocek announced the new fight booking on Twitter, but the UFC has not officially announced the fight.
The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale takes place from the Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City on April 16th and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Michael Bisping meets Tim Kennedy.
De La Torre (12-3) has won three in a row and six of his last seven. He trains out of the MMA Lab and eleven of his victories have come by knockout or submission. Bocek (11-5) made his debut in the UFC in 2007 and this will be his first fight since losing to Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 154 in November of 2012. He was scheduled to return at UFC 165 in September against Michel Prazeres, but an injury forced him out of the fight.
