An undisclosed injury has forced Mike Brown to pull out of his UFC on FOX 11 bout against Estevan Payan and replacing him in the bout will be UFC newcomer Alex White.
The injury and new fight booking was announced by the UFC on Friday evening.
UFC on FOX 11 will come from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on April 19th and will be headlined by a heavyweight title eliminator fight as Fabricio Werdum meets Travis Browne.
White (9-0) has won eight of his nine fights by stoppage and his last two wins have come in the first round. Two of his last three wins have come by submission and his last victory came in January by submission in just under two minutes.
Payan (14-5, 1NC) has lost back to back fights in the UFC and is coming off a decision defeat to Robbie Peralta at UFC 168. Prior to entering the UFC, he was unbeaten in previous eight fights (7-0, 1NC) and two of the wins came in Strikeforce.
