Bellator 118 Weigh-In Results: Rafael Silva and Sam Oropeza miss weight on first attempt

The Bellator 118 Weigh-Ins took place today in Atlantic City and Rafael Silva missed weight on his first attempt for his interim title fight against Joe Warren. Bellator New Logo #2

Today’s weigh-ins came from the Social inside the Revel Casino and tomorrow night’s card will come from the Oviation Hall.

Silva came in at 136.9 pounds for his interim title fight against Joe Warren (135 lbs), which is scheduled to headline the fight card. Silva was given an additional hour to make weight and Bellator has not made an official announcement on Silva.

Also missing weight was welterweight tournament semifinalist Sam Oropeza. He missed the welterweight limit of 171 pounds by 1.4 pound and was also given an additional hour to make weight. After the weight-ins, Bellator MMA Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney told TheMMAReport.com that if Oropeza did not make weight, Justin Baesman would replace him in the bout.
