Diego Brandao injured, Brian Ortega will not receive a new opponent for TUF Brazil 3 Finale

An undisclosed injury has forced Diego Brandao to pull out of his fight against Brian Ortega at next week’s The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale and Ortega will not receive a new opponent for the fight card.TUF Brazil 3

UFC officials announced the change on Monday.

The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale will take place on May 31st at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil and will be headlined by Stipe Miocic meeting Fabio Maldonado in a five round heavyweight bout.

This is the second straight fight card that Brandao was schedule to appear on that the fight did not take place. He was booked for the UFC Fight Night 38 card in March, but his opponent was pulled from the event on the day of the event.

According to the UFC, the fight card will go forward with twelve fights and the full fight card will be released following next week’s Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 final episode, which airs on Fight Pass.
