Mississippi Athletic Commission Chairman Jon Lewis confirmed this to TheMMAReport.com on Tuesday morning that the card was randomly tested.

While Lewis could confirm that drug testing took place, he stated that the results are private record in the state of Mississippi and will not be released.

The event was headlined by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson defeating Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal by split decision, even though nearly all of the media scored the fight for Lawal, according to MMADecisions.com.

Drug testing in Bellator has been a topic of conversation in the mixed martial arts community over the past couple of years. During season ten of Bellator, TheMMAReport.com was able to confirm with various commission officials that drug testing took place at seven of the eleven events. All of the drug testing was random and every fighter on the card may have not been tested.

The only fighter to test positive for a banned substance during this season of Bellator was Herman Terrado. He competed on the Bellator 115 card in Reno, Nevada on April 4th and he is currently on a temporary suspension with the Nevada State Athletic Commission. He will have his full hearing with the commission on his positive drug test next month and his penalty for the positive test will be voted on during that meeting.

When it comes to the medical suspensions for the card, those suspensions will be released by the Mississippi State Athletic Commission tomorrow.
