Despite missing the flyweight limit of 126 pounds on multiple occasions, John Lineker will get another fight in the UFC at flyweight as he will meet Alptekin Ozkilic at UFC Fight Night in Atlantic City on July 16th.
The fight booking was recently announced by the UFC.
UFC Fight Night Atlantic City will come from the Ovation Hall inside the Revel Casino on July 16th and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as Donald Cerrone meets Jim Miller.
Lineker (19-6) has missed weight in three of his six fights and is coming off a decision defeat against Ali Bagautinov at UFC 169. The defeat snapped a four fight winning streak, with his previous defeat coming in his UFC debut against Louis Gaudinot.
Ozkilic (9-2) was signed by the UFC late last year and won his debut at UFC on FOX 9 against Darren Uyenoyama. He would end up taking a fight on short notice one month later at UFC Fight Night 35 and lost a decision to Louis Smolka.
