ONE FC 16: Honor and Glory Weigh-In Results

The ONE FC 16: Honor and Glory Weigh-Ins took place earlier today in Singapore and the fight card is now official with nine fights following the cancellation of one of the main card

Today’s weigh-ins took place at Clarke Quay and tomorrow’s fight card will come from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The card will be available via an online pay-per-view and will be headlined by a welterweight bout as former Bellator champion Ben Askren (169.5 lbs) makes his ONE FC debut against Bakhtiyar Abbasov (170 lbs).

“I am brimming with excitement at the opportunity to get back to competing,” Askren said. “I cannot wait to get into the ONE FC cage. I’m going to look to finish him quick and there is nothing he can do to stop it. I want to stamp my mark in Asia and this will be my first step towards the ONE FC title.”

The main card was scheduled to have a bantamweight bout between Ji Xian and Thanh Vu but the fight was cancelled after Xian failed to make the bantamweight limit of 136 pounds. With this fight begin off the card, the card will go forward with nine fights.
