The main event is now set for UFC on FOX 12 on July 26th and a title shot will be on the line as Robbie Lawler will look to secure a rematch against current champion Johny Hendricks when he meets Matt Brown.
UFC President Dana White announced the fight booking on Twitter today.
UFC on FOX 12 will come from the SAP Center in San Jose on July 26th and ticket information will be announced by the UFC shortly.
Lawler (23-10, 1NC) is coming off a third round victory against Jake Ellenberger at this past weekend’s UFC 173 and he has won four of his last five since coming back to the UFC.
Brown (19-11) has won seven fights in a row and his last five wins have come by TKO/KO. His most recent win came earlier this month as he defeated Erick Silva by TKO in the third round at UFC Fight Night 40.
