The News
1. Bellator’s first PPV suffered a major hit. Eddie Alvarez, who was scheduled to defend his lightweight championship against Michael Chandler in the show’s main event, suffered a head injury and was forced to withdraw from the fight. With less than a week before the card, it was announced that Will Brooks will step in for Alvarez and take on Chandler for an interim strap. The Brooks/Chandler fight will be the co-main event, while the Rampage/Lawal fight has been moved up to the headliner.
