Bellator 121 TV viewership up nearly 31 percent from previous Friday night card on Spike TV

Bellator 121 took place on Friday night at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma and the card featured the remaining three opening round bouts in the Summer Series Light Heavyweight Tournament. Bellator 121

According to Nielsen sources, Bellator 121’s preliminary live viewership landed at 668,000 total viewers and this is up nearly 31 percent from the previous Friday night card.

The peak of the broadcast came in the second hour of the broadcast with 904,000 viewers and this is the seventh time in 2014 that a Bellator broadcast has peaked over 900,000 viewers.

When it came to the competition on cable, the night was won by episodes of Family Guy (2.335 million) on Adult Swim. Other top programming included WWE Smackdown on SciFi (2.782 million), American Day (2.031 million) and Robot Chicken (1.776 million) on Adult Swim. The top live sports programming came from ESPN2, which was an international friendly game between the United States and Nigeria. That game had 694,000 and drew a .3 rating in the Adult demo of 18-49.
