Undefeated heavyweight Dmitriy Sosnovskiy was signed last month by Bellator and he will make his debut with the promotion on July 25th at Bellator 122 against Manny Lara.
The fight booking was recently added to the preliminary card by Bellator.
Bellator 122 will come from the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California and will be headlined by the middleweight tournament final between Brett Cooper and Brandon Halsey.
Sosnovskiy (8-0) has been fighting since late 2012 and his most recent win came in January as he defeated Aleksander Emelianenko by TKO in the first round at Coliseum FC: New History 2. Six of his eight wins have come by stoppage and all of those victories have come in the first round.
Lara (4-4, 1NC) opened his career with victories in four of his first five fight, but has been unable to secure a in his last four fights. All four of those fights have come in Bellator and his most recent fight in Bellator came in February as he was poked in the eye by Josh Diekmann at the 18 second mark of the fight. He would not be able to continue and the fight was declared a no-contest.
