Former UFC bantamweight Dustin Pague will have his first fight since exiting the UFC on July 12th in Virginia as he will meet D’Juan Owens in the main event of The Victorium – Episode III.
The event will come from the Abingdon Ruritan Center in Haynes, Virginia and the fight card will also feature former Bellator fighter Brett Glass meeting Jon Hughes.
Pague (11-9) entered the UFC through The Ultimate Fighter 14 and went 1-5 during his run in the promotion. His only win in the UFC came in 2012 as he submitted Jared Papazian at UFC on FX 3 and his last appearance in the UFC came last year at UFC 166 as he was defeated by Kyoji Horiguchi.
Owens (9-7-1) has been fighting professionally since 2010 and he has won two of his last three fights. He is coming off a TKO win last month and six of his nine victories have come by stoppage.
