UFC Fight Night 47 will take place on August 16th in Bangor, Maine and the fight card will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Ryan Bader will meet Ovince St. Preux.
The fight booking was reported by the Bangor Daily News and was later confirmed by the UFC.
UFC Fight Night 47 will come from the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on August 16th and tickets go on sale to the public on Friday.
Bader (17-4) has won back to back fights since losing to recent title challenger Glover Teixeira last year. He is coming off a win at last weekend’s UFC 174 against Rafael Cavalcante and his last two wins have come by decision.
St. Preux (16-5) is currently on a five fight winning streak and four of those wins have come in the UFC. His last two wins have come by submission and just like Bader, he scored a victory last weekend as he defeated Ryan Jimmo in the second round.
