A lightweight bout has been added to the UFC 176 preliminary card on August 2nd as Walmir Lazaro has verbally agreed to make his UFC debut against James Vick.
The fight booking was announced by UFC officials on late Friday evening.
UFC 176 will come from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and will be headlined by a title rematch as Jose Aldo defends the featherweight title against Chad Mendes.
Lazaro (12-2) is currently on a eleven fight winning streak and his last three wins have come by TKO/KO. Nine of his wins have come by TKO/KO and he has only gone to the decision three times in his career.
Vick (5-0) won his official UFC debut last year as he defeated Ramsey Nijem by submission in 58 seconds. It was his fourth victory to come in the first round and it was his first win to come in under one minute.
