The UFC has made a “super fight” as former middleweight champion Anderson Silva will return from injury on January 31, 2015 and meet former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz in the main event of UFC 183.
Silva (33-6) was recently cleared by his doctors to return to full training and he will be looking to snap a two fight losing streak when he steps into the cage on January 31st. Diaz (26-9, 1NC) will also be looking to snap a two fight losing streak and this will be his first fight since coming out of retirement.
The venue in Las Vegas that will host the fight card has not been announced by the UFC and that is expected to be announced in the coming months.
