A bantamweight bout has been added to the World Series of Fighting 12 fight card as Bryson Hansen will meet Matt Sayles in the opening bout of the main card broadcast on NBCSN.
The fight booking was officially announced by the World Series of Fighting on Tuesday.
World Series of Fighting 12 will come from The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and will be headlined by a lightweight bout as Luis Palomino meets Lewis Gonzalez.
Hansen (7-2) won his World Series of Fighting debut in March as he defeated Sean Cantor by TKO in 46 seconds. It was his second straight victory and his only career defeat came against current UFC fighter Russell Doane.
Sayles (2-0) will be making his promotional debut and both of his professional fights came in the Xplode Fight Series. Both of his professional wins have come by TKO in the first round and his last win came in March in 46 seconds.
“Bryson Hansen looked fantastic in his World Series of Fighting debut, so we’re excited to have him back in the decagon so quickly and see if he can turn in another performance like that,” World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo said. “On the other side of the cage is Matt Sayles, who has been absolutely destroying his competition early on in his career and already looks prepared for a step up in quality. This fight should kick off our broadcast with real fireworks.”
