The main event of UFC on FOX 12 was a title eliminator fight in the UFC welterweight division as Robbie Lawler secured his rematch with Johny Hendricks with a decision win over Matt Brown. 
The two strikers would battle it out for five rounds and Lawler would win the fight 49-46, 49-46, and 48-47 on the judges scorecards.
