Polish light heavyweight Jan Blachowicz has signed with the UFC and he will make his promotional debut on October 4th at UFC Fight Night 53 in Sweden against Ilir Latifi.
UFC officials announced the signing and fight booking on Wednesday morning.
UFC Fight Night 53 will come from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden on October 4th and the event will air on Fight Pass.
Blachowicz (17-3) was the KSW light heavyweight champion and is on a fight fight winning streak. His last four wins have come by decision and his most recent win came in March of last year as he defeated Goran Reljic.
Latifi (9-3, 1NC) has won back to back fights after losing his UFC debut last year against Gegard Mousasi. His last two wins have come by stoppage in the first round with most most recent victory coming earlier this month against Chris Dempsey at UFC Fight Night 47.
