The Bellator bantamweight division has a new fighter as the promotion has signed Japanese fighter Hideo Tokoro.
The signing was reported by MMA-In-Asia.com late Monday evening and the story included quote from Tokoro and Bellator President Scott Coker.
Tokoro (32-27-2) has been competing since 2000 and has notable victories over Royler Gracie, Brad Pickett, and Darren Uyenoyama. Since late 2010, he has gone 6-4 and four of those victories have come by stoppage. Currently, he has lost back to back fights and his most recent defeat came in July against Victory Henry.
