The latest edition to the UFC 177 fight card on August 30th in Sacramento is a lightweight bout as Justin Edwards will face Yancy Medeiros.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC today.
UFC 177 will come from the Sleep Train Arena on August 30th and will be headlined by TJ Dillashaw defending the bantamweight title against Renan Barao.
Edwards (8-4) has dropped back to back fights and three of his last four. His last win came in 2012 as he defeated Josh Neer by technical submission and he will enter this fight following a decision defeat to Ramsey Nijem at UFC Fight Night 35.
Medeiros (9-2, 1NC) is winless in his last three fights and all of those fights have come in the UFC. He is coming off a technical submission defeat at UFC 172 against Jim Miller and his last win came in 2010 in Strikeforce as he defeated Gareth Joseph by knockout.
