World Series of Fighting bantamweight champion Marlon Moraes will make his first bantamweight title defense on September 13th at World Series of Fighting 13 against Josh Hill.
The fight booking was initially reported by Yahoo Sports and a World Series of Fighting official confirmed to TheMMAReport.com that the fight card will air on NBCSN.
While the venue for the event has not been announced, the Yahoo Sports story cited that the event is tentatively scheduled to take place in Pennsylvania.
Moraes (13-4-1) won the inaugural bantamweight title in March when he dominated Josh Rettinghouse at World Series of Fighting 9. It was his seventh straight victory and five of those wins have come in the World Series of Fighting cage.
Hill (10-0) is coming off a knockout win at World Series of Fighting Canada 2 at the beginning of June as he defeated Mike Adams. It was his third career victory to come by knockout and his previous five wins came by unanimous decision.
